The radio audio interviews range in length from ten minutes to hour long documentaries produced to professional broadcast standards much as if you were listening to the BBC Radio 4.
Our WP Radio interviews "inform, educate and entertain" to the BBC Reithian values. They tell of the issues women MPs champion in Westminster, and what the life of a women MP entails. They will complement your civics lessons and your teaching of politics courses.
Our DVD also has on it the four group portraits of women politicians taken by Reuters photographer Kieran Doherty for WP Radio to celebrate "90 Years of Women And The Vote" and which have been purchased by the House of Commons Works of Art Collection.
The four portraits of Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrat, and Independent Labour women politicians are designed to act as a visual role model to students in schools to encourage women to consider a political career. 104 out of a possbile 125 women were photographed.  |
